Leeds fans urge Monk to axe 25-year-old against Bristol City

Leeds fans have urged Garry Monk to axe Stuart Dallas from the starting eleven ahead of Tuesday evening’s Elland Road clash against Bristol City.

The 25-year-old has started the Yorkshire giants’ last four matches in the league, but with a return of just one goal it looks like fans are finally losing their patience.

The usual left sided player featured on the right in the weekend’s 2-0 defeat against Cardiff, playing 62 minutes before being brought off for Hadi Sacko.

The Leeds fan base are now keen for him to remain on the bench and a large number shared on social media that they don’t want him in their line-up on Tuesday evening.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Dallas has returned with just two goals and two assists in 26 appearances for Leeds in all competitions this season.

He has not been one of the main stars of the side which is looking to win promotion to the top flight, but he has still contributed at times.

Monk will now be eager to get his midweek selection correct after two losses in their last two league matches which has left Leeds in fifth.
