Leeds must complete Manor Solomon deal amid Tottenham return update
Manor Solomon may yet have another chapter to write in his story at Leeds United after a huge update regarding his current loan spell.
The Tottenham forward was heavily linked with an exit in the summer, as pre-season injuries prevented him from showcasing his ability to their new manager Thomas Frank.
Leeds were interested in signing Solomon again after his impressive loan spell, but sources told Football Insider that the lure of Champions League football ultimately prompted him to opt for Villarreal.
The Israel international has struggled for gametime in La Liga so far this term, and that looks set to spark a series of events that will have Daniel Farke and Co. watching intently in West Yorkshire.

Leeds to make Manor Solomon proposal as Tottenham recall inevitable
Leeds saw a late move for Solomon fall through in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, and they have since lacked consistent firepower at the top end of the pitch.
The Spurs loanee was electric at Elland Road during the Whites’ promotion season last term, as he notched 22 goal contributions to help his team lift the league title at the end of the campaign.
However, the success of that loan spell hasn’t been reflected in his latest stint with a different club, as he has managed just 146 minutes of league gametime at Villarreal.
His situation with the Yellow Submarine looks set to come to a head in January, with his loan club now said to be focusing more on “departures than signings” in January, according to Saturday’s print edition of AS.
The Spanish newspaper note that Tottenham have a recall clause as part of the deal, and that Solomon himself is growing increasingly unhappy with his situation.
Villarreal are seeking a solution for the forward, and that is where Farke and Leeds could have the perfect opportunity to swoop in.
It has quickly become clear that the player has no future with his parent club, so if Spurs were to recall him, he would almost inevitably be sent out on loan straight away, or potentially even sold.

Leeds would be the perfect environment to help Solomon get back to his best, and if they were to express a desire to take him from Tottenham once again, then that may be enough for his parent club to pull the plug on his current loan.
Manor Solomon arrival would cover Noah Okafor doubts
There are already doubts over Noah Okafor’s future at Leeds after some inconsistent displays to start this season, and with that in mind, the latest update on Solomon may prove timely for Leeds.
A return move to Italy has been put forward as a potential option for Okafor, either in January or next summer, and a sensational return for Solomon could provide the ideal way to cover that eventuality.
Farke is blessed with plenty of options in the wide areas, but none were as productive as the Tottenham loanee last term.
Throw in the fact that he already has a strong relationship and standing with the Whites’ supporters, and it could be the ideal morale-boosting signing at Elland Road in the mid-season window.
