Leeds plan £300m signing spree as 49ers documents leaked
Leeds United are planning a £300million signing spree after 49ers Enterprises documents have been leaked.
The 49ers have big plans at Elland Road after completing their £170m takeover in July 2023, bringing former owner Andrea Radrizzani’s six-year reign in charge to an end.
Daniel Farke helped Leeds secure promotion back to the Premier League last season after claiming the Championship title.
Anton Stach was Leeds’ most expensive signing of the summer transfer window, having joined in a £17m deal from Hoffenheim.
The Whites also signed Noah Okafor, Jaka Bijol, Lucas Perri, Sean Longstaff, Gabriel Gudmundsson, James Justin, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha on permanent deals, taking their spending to around £98m.

Leeds owners bankroll £120m injection
It was revealed in May Leeds’ owners would issue £120m of new shares in the club, with 49ers investors asked to help bankroll the injection.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday (10 September) that cash is set to fund business operations, carry out the Whites’ stadium expansion project and enable the club to bring in £300m worth of players over the next three years.
The news outlet said it has seen a leaked 50-slide deck, where the 49ers laid out their plans for Leeds over the coming years.

The owners projected a £101million spend on new signings this season, £126m for 2026-27 and £89m in 2027-28.
It means there is little cash left in the bank for any further additions in January following their £98m worth of spending this summer.
Leeds owners reveal £1bn plan
The Athletic revealed the 49ers currently estimate Leeds to be worth £527.45m, with that figure projected to increase to around £1billion by 2030.
That is due to anticipated strong growth in revenue, which the group are hoping will reach beyond £300m in 2028-29.
Leeds posted a record-breaking Championship revenue in their latest published accounts for 2023-24 despite seeing their turnover fall from £189.7m in 2022-23 to £127.6m.
However, that figure will grow substantially this season after securing their return to the Premier League.
The key for Leeds is remaining in the Premier League as a relegation would come as a major blow for the 49ers and the club overall.
Farke’s side have had a reasonable start to life back in the top flight, having picked up four points from their opening three games of the new season.
