Leeds United made it two wins from three this week, with a convincing 2-0 Championship win over Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon.

It was a complete team performance from Thomas Christiansen’s side, who bounced back from their 4-1 defeat to Wolves in midweek with a dominant display in a feisty Yorkshire derby.

Samuel Saiz put the visitors ahead with a low drive midway through the first half with his fifth Champoinship goal of the season.

Ezgjan Alioski doubled their lead with a brilliant curling effort on the stroke of half-time, to put Christiansen’s side in total control.

The results sees the Whites move up to eighth place in the Championship table, 15 points behind Wolves at the top and six points behind their next opponents Aston Villa in fourth.
