Leeds player ratings v Barnsley: Ekuban springs surprise as 26-year-old steals the show

Eunan O’kane – 8
Very good, was able to find the right balance by protecting the back-four and allowing the front players to do their thing. Leeds looked a lot more open after he was replaced on 58 minutes and it was shame to see him leave the field.
Kalvin Phillips – 8
Played very well alongside O’Kane in midfield and like his teammate, was able to get the balance just right. Barnsley only really threatened after O’Kane left the pitch.
