By Will Butcher
Football Insider rates the Leeds players after they lost 2-0 against Brighton on Friday night at the Amex Stadium in the Championship.
Rob Green – 5 At fault for the first goal as he was caught underneath a lofted corner. Header was handled on the line by Phillips, which lead to penalty.
Luke Ayling – 5 Was caught out multiple times on the flank as Jamie Murphy got in behind the former Bristol City man on multiple occasions.
Pontus Jansson 5 – Safety first at the back, as he mopped up multiple times to clear the danger.
Kyle Bartley 4 – Standard performance from the stand-in captain, as he did his job at the back. Gave away second penalty, although decision was soft.

Charlie Taylor 7 – The in-demand defender was one of Leeds most attacking threats, as his ability to centre the ball put Brighton’s defence on their heels.
Kalvin Phillips 3 – Sent off for using his hand to deny Brighton the lead, which saw Glenn Murray then convert from the penalty spot. Inexperienced decision making.
Ronaldo Vieira 6 – Worked hard in the midfield as he was asked to do two players’ jobs following Phillips’ red card, but to no avail.
Hadi Sacko 6 – Looked lively on the right flank for Leeds, was one of the only players to impress after the red card to Phillips.
Kemar Roofe 5 – After scoring his first goal against Aston Villa, Roofe went missing after the red card as Brighton enjoyed near all of the possession.
Souleymane Doukara 6 – Worked hard for Leeds, seemed to appear all over the pitch. Could tell he had something to prove with his contract nearing its end. Impressive display against 11 men.
Chris Wood 5 – Given little service by Garry Monk’s men, but struggled to hold the ball up when given the chance.
Matt Grimes (On for Sacko, 45 mins) 6
Stuart Dallas (On for Doukara 71 mins) 7
