Leeds player ratings v Derby: Attacker gets 9/10

By Emma Sanders

Football Insider rates the Leeds players following their 1-0 victory against Derby in the Championship at Elland Road on Friday evening.

Robert Green 7 – It took 30 minutes for him to be involved and he was rarely tested. Almost conceded a very embarrassing goal but was let off by a handball decision.

Lewie Coyle 7 – Got forward well to help out in attack and was solid at the back. Great game considering he has featured little this season.

Luke Ayling 9 – Looked very assured in defence and would start for most teams in the league but he will struggle to retain his place ahead of Jansson despite an excellent stand-in performance.

Kyle Bartley 8 – He looked like a striker for most of the first half with a number of headed opportunities but he missed a few sitters which showed why he is a centre-back.

Gaetano Berardi 7 – Was solid in defence but he gave the ball away a little sloppily at times. Good performance all round though.

Liam Bridcutt 7 – Had a fairly quiet performance but dominated in midfield and didn’t let Derby cause many problems.

Ronaldo Vieira 7 – Was his usual bright self though he did lack a little bit of concentration when tracking back at times.

Pablo Hernandez 9 – Was a menace for Derby’s defenders and the attacker didn’t stop running all evening. Created chances too and was incredible from set pieces.

Kemar Roofe 8 – He was a constant threat and caused plenty of problems on the wing before coming off as a late substitute in the second-half.

Souleymane Doukara 7 – Made a good start to the game but didn’t get involved much as the game went on and his teammates out-performed him.

Chris Wood 9 – He scored the game’s only goal with a lovely header and continued to cause a threat up front. Excellent form.

Stuart Dallas (for Roofe 78 mins) 6

Alex Mowatt (for Hernandez 86 mins) 5
