Leeds player ratings v QPR: 29-year-old must be axed after 4/10 shocker (not Wiedwald)
Goalkeeper and defenders
Felix Wiedwald (Goalkeeper) – 5: Wasn’t called into action as much as Queens Park Rangers’ possession would have suggested, but was comfortable with everything thrown at him today until the last two minutes of the game. The goalkeeper horribly missed judged his position and saw the ball loop over his head into the net.
Luke Ayling (Right-back) – 5: Struggled in the first-half and didn’t get forward as much as he would have liked. The second-half was better for the defender but QPR saw less of the ball to give him an easier ride.
Liam Cooper (Centre-back) – 6: Had to deal with heavy Queens Park Rangers’ pressure in the first-half and managed with the danger.
Pontus Jansson (Centre-back) – 7- The defender was solid at the back and even got forward to test Alex Smithies in the QPR goal every so often.
Gaeteno Berardi (Left-back) – 4: The 29-year-old defender was targeted by Queens Park Rangers as the weak link in the first-half with all of their attacks being directed down the right, and he struggled to cope. The defender should be axed following his performance.
