Leeds player ratings v Reading: Weak link is 4/10
By Dominic Toner
Football Insider rates the Leeds players after their 1-0 defeat against Reading in the Championship.
Rob Green 6 – Made a great save from a one on one moment with Gareth McCleary and was there to bail out on his defence on a couple of ocassions.
Gaetano Berardi 6 – The combative defender put his body about as usual and made a number of good saves. However, could lose his place when Luke Ayling returns from suspension.
Kyle Bartley 5 – Was in a very difficult battle against Yann Kermorgant and the backline looked too open throughout and was not very effective going forward.
Liam Cooper 4 – The centre-back is the weak link in the side and really struggled to cope with the Reading attackers. Was also involved in an incident where his boot caught Reece Oxford’s head, something that could be looked at by officials afterwards.

Charlie Taylor 5 – The left-back deflected the ball straight into the path of Yann Kermorgant for the opening goal.
Liam Bridcutt 5 – He didn’t have one of his best games of the season and offered very little both offensively and defensively.
Ronaldo Vieira 5 – The teenage central midfielder was unable to reach his normal standards and was too casual in possession, plus he struggled to assert his dominance in the centre of the park.
Hadi Sacko 5 – Showed some good signs on the right wing and put a couple of good balls into the box, but was withdrawn by Garry Monk in the second-half.
Pablo Hernandez 5 – He had some nice touches on the ball, but wasn’t enough of a presence and struggled against a determined Reading defence to unlock the door.
Alfonso Pedraza 6 – Saw a good chance inside the penalty area go wide and looked dangerous in possession, but did have a difficult battle against Chris Gunter.
Chris Wood 6 – The star striker was relatively quiet and was unable to seriously threaten the goal, but was feeding off scraps during most of the game.
Souleymane Doukara (for Sacko 60mins) 6
Kalvin Phillips (for Pedraza 67mins) 6
