Leeds to recall axed player for clash against Fuham - report

Ronaldo Vieira is in line for a recall to the Leeds team that faces Fulham at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night, according to a report.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claim the central midfielder “is likely” to be selected for Garry Monk’s 18-man squad in the west London fixture.
Vieira, 18, was absent from Leeds’ trip to St Andrews on Friday night when they secured a crucial 3-1 win against Birmingham.
Monk paired Eunan O’Kane with skipper Liam Bridcutt in central midfielder and then turned to another Elland Road academy product in Kalvin Phillips to help turn the match in the team’s favour in the last half-hour.
Vieira has been a key member of Leeds’ side this season after making the well-trodden path from the club’s productive youth set-up into the first team.

He has made 30 appearances in all competitions, including starts in 17 of the Yorkshire giants’ 34 league matches, and has frequently been the preferred midfield partner for Bridcutt in recent months.
Monk will have a full squad available for Tuesday’s trip to Fulham after defenders Luke Ayling and Kyle Bartley – both of whom are one yellow card away from a two-game suspension – avoided bookings at Birmingham.
The fixture in London could change the complexion of the promotion race again with Fulham eight points behind Leeds and having a game in hand.
Monk’s side are fourth in the table with a tally of 64 points from 35 matches, while Fulham have accumulated 56 from 34 games.
