Leeds coach Pep Clotet expressed his enjoyment on Twitter after watching Barcelona in action in the Sky Sports studios.

The Spanish coach was handed the plum TV gig as he commentated on the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez for broadcaster Sky Sports.

Garry Monk’s assistant witnessed the La Liga giants beat their nearest rivals Espanyol 4-1 at the Nou Camp on Sunday evening.

A Luis Suarez brace, added with goals from Jordi Alba and Lionel Messi helped Luis Enrique’s side close the gap on leaders Real Madrid to just three points in the La Liga table.

Barca are in second place on 34 points from 16 games, while Madrid, who won the Club World Cup on the same day, have a game in hand against their rivals.

Here is Clotet posting about commentating on the Barcelona clash on his personal Twitter account.

Clotet managed in the youth setup at Espanyol prior to joining Monk at Swansea in 2013, before continuing his relationship with the highly-rated coach at Elland Road.

The duo have guided the Yorkshire giants to promotion hopefuls this season, most recently guiding them to four wins in their last five games.

As a result the Whites are fifth in the Championship table on 38 points from 22 encounters going into a critical and busy festive period.

Monk’s side travel to Deepdale to take on Simon Grayson’s Preston North End on Boxing Day, before a mouth-watering tie against Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa.
