Leeds to appoint senior man this week as Radrizzani overhaul continues - reliable journalist

Leeds are set to appoint Victor Orta as their new technical director this week, according to a reliable journalist.
Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent Lee Sobot has revealed that the former Middlesbrough man should arrive in his new role at Elland Road over the next few days.
“Expecting ex-Middlesbrough man Victor Orta’s arrival as Leeds’ new technical director to be confirmed at some stage this mid-week,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds are making several changes under new full owner Andrea Radrizzani, who is on the search for a new manager following the resignation of Garry Monk.
Orta is available after recently leaving Middlesbrough following their relegation from the Premier League and the Spaniard is renowned for his talent spotting in the European transfer market.

He will be the right hand man of the new Leeds manager, with his former colleague Aitor Karanka the bookmakers favourite for the role.
The pair worked together at Middlesbrough to deal with the club’s signings and would have a similar role if they both moved to Leeds.
Radrizzani has also brought Angus Kinnear to the club as the new managing director to replace Ben Mansford.
The new full owner is hoping to get Leeds back in the Premier League after their lengthly absence and is making several changes in order to do so.
