Leeds star Charlie Cresswell undergoes Toulouse medical after bid accepted – sources
Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell has undergone a medical ahead of a £3.8million move to Toulouse, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old has also agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side, with the transfer expected to be completed imminently.
The Whites gave Cresswell permission to fly to France after Daniel Farke approved the sale of the central defender this summer.
Cresswell was surplus to requirements last season after only being featured in five Championship matches, failing to get a single minute in any of the play-off fixtures.
The Leeds academy graduate has been with the club since 2013 and has three years left on his current four-year contract, which he only signed last year.
Leeds United star Charlie Cresswell given green light to leave
The expected transfer may not shock Leeds fans due to Cresswell’s lack of game time last season, and especially because the club needs to balance the books in this window.
Failure to do so would result in points deductions for Leeds, making Daniel Farke’s task of getting the club back into the top flight even harder, hence why the Whites are open to moving certain players on.

Another player set to exit Elland Road soon is Archie Gray, who has undergone a medical with Brentford ahead of a proposed £40million sale.
