Leeds star Willy Gnonto reacts to message from Bournemouth’s Luis Sinisterra
Evanilson and Wilfried Gnonto have reacted to a new training update on social media from Bournemouth man Luis Sinisterra.
Bournemouth impressed massively last season as Andoni Iraola led his side to a surprise ninth-placed finish in the Premier League.
The Cherries had numerous standout players throughout their successful campaign, but the core of their squad is being cherry-picked this summer by bigger teams with more chance of winning big prizes.
Centre-back Dean Huijsen has left to join Real Madrid, while Milos Kerkez is closing in on a move to Liverpool and Antoine Semenyo has been linked with a move to Tottenham, as revealed by Football Insider.
Sinisterra struggled to make an impact last term amid injury and form issues, but he looks to be putting in the hours on the training pitch to try and become a mainstay under Iraola in the new campaign.

Luis Sinisterra in ‘work mode’ as Bournemouth face exits
Colombian international winger Sinisterra initially joined Bournemouth on loan from Leeds United in 2023, and that deal became a permanent one last summer for £20million (talkSPORT).
Sinisterra netted an important late winner against Everton in the early stages of the last campaign, but he otherwise struggled in a season that will live long in the memory for many Cherries supporters, with just 12 league appearances made.
The 26-year-old is likely to be given more opportunities next term, due to Bournemouth’s exodus of players, and he has recently posted a training update to his Instagram page with the caption: “Work mode” with praying, flexed bicep and football emojis alongside his message.
His post has been reacted to by some of his Cherries teammates, with Evanilson and Marcos Senesi leaving a like, while a number of his former Leeds teammates, namely Gnonto, Pascal Struijk, Mateo Joseph and Sam Greenwood, also did the same.
Sinisterra likely to stay put among Cherries’ busy summer
Football Insider verdict
Sinisterra’s struggles last term mean he looks set to stay at the Vitality Stadium ahead of the new campaign, but the same cannot be said for a number of his teammates after their respectively outstanding individual showings.

Bournemouth have already been unable to hold on to loan goalkeeper Kepa as he prepares to join Arsenal in a permanent move from Chelsea, and Huijsen’s exit was confirmed early on in the summer so he could play in the Club World Cup with Madrid.
Kerkez’ move to Liverpool now seems all-but-confirmed, and Tottenham-target Semenyo is also wanted by Newcastle United as they prepare for Champions League football next term.
On top of all that, Iraola could find himself out of a job if things do not go Bournemouth’s way next season, according to Football Insider’s Mick Brown, which would be a shock considering their decent showing in the last campaign.
Bournemouth certainly need to act fast to either get players tied down to new contracts or sell them on for a healthy fee to then reinvest back into the squad and add to Adrien Truffert, or they could struggle in the Premier League in 2025/26.
