Leeds rising star Tyler Denton makes FIFA 17 revelation

By Will Butcher

Leeds wonderkid Tyler Denton has revealed that taking penalties is not his forte on FIFA 17.

The 20-year-old left-back revealed that the new system of taking penalties on the latest edition of the footballing simulator is a lot harder than previous versions of the world-famous game.

Denton posted sarcastically on his personal Twitter account that the new way of taking a spot-kick on the game was “having my life”.

Denton has made a name for himself this season after scoring on his full debut for Leeds against Luton Town in the second round of the EFL Cup.

The youngster scored a delicious goal from outside of the area, as he curled the ball first time around the goalkeeper with the outside of his left foot.

The pacy defender then followed his spectacular debut up by signing a new contract at Elland Road that will keep him with the Yorkshire giants until the summer of 2019. The deal was orchestrated by his agent and former Leeds star Ian Harte.

With only Charlie Taylor considered as Leeds’ other left-back, Denton could be in line for a first-team chance if Taylor succumbs to injury or does indeed move away from Elland Road.

Leeds’ number 21 was the subject of intense summer-long speculation surrounding his future, with less than 12 months remaining on his contract.

In other Leeds news, this international has posted a rallying call on his personal Twitter account ahead of Saturday’s game against Barnsley.
