Leeds told to complete new Josuha Guilavogui deal after emotional message
Leeds United fans believe that Josuha Guilavogui is the “perfect” signing and have urged the club to offer him a long-term contract during the summer after he shared an emotional message.
The 34-year-old took to social media to reflect on how his life has changed since the last international break now he’s playing for the Yorkshire giants.
He wrote, “Last international break I was home and jobless, today I’m playing for @LUFC and winning at Elland Road. Feeling grateful and blessed.”
Leeds signed the defensive midfielder until the end of the season on 23 October to provide further depth and cover to that area of the pitch following injuries to Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev.
Guilavogui had been a free agent since the summer as he had left 1.FSV Mainz 05 after making just 12 appearances last season.
The midfielder came off the bench against QPR on Saturday (9 November) as the Whites picked up another three points following a 2-0 win.

Supporters have claimed he’s the “most humble player” they’ve ever seen, while others have stated he will become a “cult hero” at Elland Road.
