Leeds ‘buzzing’ amid ‘massive’ Thorp Arch reveal in last 48 hours – pundit
Leeds United will be “buzzing” their last two scheduled games have been postponed, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker suggested Leeds can now welcome back injured players for the “massive” game against Burnley at the weekend (2 January).
Phil Hay of the Athletic reported on Boxing Day that Thorp Arch was set to re-open that day after closing because of a covid outbreak last week (23 December).

It is also claimed that the club are hopeful of fulfilling the fixture with Burnley.
“They will have been buzzing to have that game against Villa postponed and that game against Liverpool on Boxing Day, it’s massive for Leeds,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“With so many injuries and covid, it gives them the chance for their next game with Burnley at the weekend to have players back from injury, not just covid.
“They need to start winning games, they need to start picking up points as soon as possible.
“Burnley is a massive game because both of them need points. Burnley aren’t going to roll over and will be rested as well with no game since the 12 December before their game against Man United.
“They will be thinking ‘We need a result as well, we need to get out of this relegation battle’. There are some massive games coming up.
“Leeds cannot afford to have Burnley beat them.”

The Whites are currently on a run of a three consecutive Premier League defeat and have 14 goals in the process.
They are five points ahead of Burnley who occupy the final relegation place.
