Leeds United close in on three signings after medical completed – sources

Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Manor Solomon after he completed a medical on Saturday, sources have told Football Insider.

A season-long loan deal has been agreed after Solomon rejected a move to Spanish outfit Getafe.

The West Yorkshire giants have been in the market to bolster their attacking options after selling Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter this summer.

Leeds are hoping to secure at least two other deals before the transfer window shuts, as the club are working on full-back and midfielder signings.

Football Insider revealed that the Whites are making a surprise move for Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons, who previously worked with Daniel Farke at Norwich City.

Football Insider also reported that Leeds are plotting a “last-gasp” move for QPR playmaker Ilias Chair, who is in the final year of his contract.

Leeds United will have more attacking options with Manor Solomon in the squad

Solomon hasn’t been in the match-day squad for either of Tottenham’s opening two Premier League fixtures, with this loan move set to provide him with more playing time.

His opportunities at Spurs have been limited since he joined from Shakhtar Donetsk due to a knee injury, leading to him making only six appearances for the Premier League side.

The winger will give Farke more attacking options, providing competition for the likes of Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto.
