Leeds United fans are saying the same thing about Joel Piroe after display

Leeds United fans are fed up with Joel Piroe in the number 10 position beg Daniel Farke to make big change against Rotherham United on Saturday

Many Leeds United fans are clamouring for Joel Piroe to be dropped from the number 10 role after his “abysmal” performance against Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday evening (6 February).

The Whites came out victorious after extra time in their FA Cup fourth-round replay against the Pilgrims courtesy of WIlfired Gnonto’s 66th-minute opener, Crysencio Summerville’s and Georginio Rutter’s extra-time strikes and an own goal from Ryan Hardie.

While Daniel Farke’s side eventually secured a convincing win to progress to the fifth round, many were not impressed with Piroe’s display.

A swathe of supporters have taken umbrage with the fact that the manager persists in playing the Dutchman as a number 10, which he has done in 22 games in all competitions this season.

Against Plymouth, he managed just two shots, completed no dribbles, was dispossessed 12 and was frequently bashed by the fanbase for not providing an outlet for Leeds’ attackers.

Supporters have taken to social media to urge Farke to rethink his “bonkers” tactics regarding Piroe.
