Leeds United fans can’t believe agreement to sign player after ‘three surgeries’

Leeds United fans are unsure about whether the club should sign Tottenham winger Manor Solomon after making just six appearances last season.

Football Insider revealed (August 24) that Manor Solomon is undergoing a Leeds United medical today after a loan deal has been agreed with Tottenham.

The 25-year-old hasn’t played consistent football since his loan spell at Fulham in 2022-23, making 24 appearances and scoring five goals in the process.

Solomon then moved to Spurs in a controversial free transfer from Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk but has failed to make an impression due to injury problems.

Last season alone the winger spent 276 days on the sidelines for Spurs with a Meniscus injury, missing 33 games as the club narrowly missed out on Champions League football.

Football Insider also revealed (August 26) that the West Yorkshire club are “confident” of completing three signings this week before the transfer window closes.
