Leeds United fans fume as Crysencio Summerville footage re-analysed

Leeds United fans are not happy with Crysencio Summerville after footage emerged of the winger seemingly refusing to celebrate with Joel Piroe.

Leeds were doomed to face the playoffs after a 2-1 defeat against Southampton, but Summerville’s lack of celebration for the equaliser caught the eye.

This comes while Football Insider has reported that Summerville could be set to leave Elland Road this summer if Leeds do not earn promotion.

Given the club’s history in the playoffs, they pose a daunting task and the team will have to step up their recent displays.

Reacting to footage of the incident (shared by on X, 5 May), many suggested the Dutchman is “selfish” and urged the club to cash in on a “big-money” move.

Probably because it wasn’t him that scored and he can’t handle not being the centre on attention.

For all the good he is, it’s blatantly obvious that he’s all about himself.
