Leeds United fans fume at ‘ridiculous’ Junior Firpo development – ‘Bad feeling about this’
Leeds United fans are worried after Junior Firpo switched his international allegiance to the Dominican Republic.
The full-back, who was initially capped by Spain’s under-21s in 2018, is set to play March friendlies against Aruba and Peru for the Caribbean nation.
While swathes of the Elland Road faithful are happy that Firpo is earning senior international recognition, they were very fearful that he would pick up an injury during the fixtures.
Leeds have just two senior left-backs in the squad, Firpo and Sam Byram, and supporters fear that an injury to the former could provide a real problem.

Supporters have taken to social media to react to the “ridiculous” news, and some fear he could pick up a season-ending injury.
