Leeds United fans fume at what Jayden Bogle did against Burnley
Leeds United fans were left furious with right-back Jayden Bogle for his defensive contribution in Burnley’s winning goal on Saturday.
Winger Manor Solomon slipped in Burnley’s half, losing the ball to Burnley’s Luca Koleosho who was able to run at a surprised Leeds defence.
The 24-year-old right-back decides not to close the winger down, continually backing off until the very last minute but it was too late.
Koleosho was able to run from his own half completely unchallenged before slotting the ball past Illan Meslier in the Leeds goal.
The American winger’s goal was enough to secure the win for Scott Parker’s side at Elland Road as they moved into second, two points behind league leaders Sunderland.
Leeds United fans furious with Jayden Bogle after Burnley goal
Bogle was one of just five permanent signings for Leeds United this summer, joining from fellow Yorkshire club Sheffield United for £5million.
United now sit in eighth after five Championship games, with fans taking to social media to voice their frustrations at Bogle’s defending.
