Leeds United fans rage at Daniel Farke after Blackburn defeat – ‘Disgraceful’
Leeds United fans on social media have run out of patience with Daniel Farke after their 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon (13 April).
Leeds have missed a golden opportunity to return to the top of the Championship table after suffering defeat at Elland Road.
The Yorkshire side dominated play against Rovers but were unable to find the back of the net despite taking 19 shots.
Farke made three changes to his side ahead of the match with Connor Roberts, Wilfried Gnonto and Joel Piroe returning to the starting lineup in place of Glen Kamara, Dan James and Patrick Bamford.
The German manager then waited until the 68th minute of the clash to make changes to his side – much to the frustration of Leeds supporters.
Fans on social media were left fuming at the Leeds boss with some supporters even calling for him to be sacked.
Leeds remain third in the Championship standings and could fall further behind Ipswich Town when their promotion rivals face Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds now have three games left in the season to secure automatic promotion, with their next clash coming against Middlesbrough next Monday (22 April).
