Leeds United fans rage at Jesse Marsch what he’s just said about the club
Leeds United fans have been left fuming at Jesse Marsch after his latest rant about his time at Elland Road in which he labelled the club a “mess”.
The American manager appeared on the CBS Sports Golazo podcast, where he ranted about a lack of structure and direction during his spell at Leeds.
He insisted that the club was “in disarray” when he arrived, was “a mess” financially, and made managing “very difficult”, while he insisted he considers his time there “a big success”.
This is despite having been sacked in February 2023, with the club spiralling towards an eventual relegation, less than a year after he was hired.

Marsch was recently appointed as the new manager of the Canadian national team on 13 May, his first job since leaving Elland Road.
This is not the first time he has spoken controversially about his time at Leeds.
Fans insisted that the former boss was “delusional” and “pathetic”, while many labelled him a “fraud” given his role in the club’s drop from the Premier League – something he seemingly refuses to take accountability for.
