Leeds United fans rip into Daniel Farke for what he did in the dugout v Sunderland

Leeds United fans have torn into manager Daniel Farke for not making changes earlier against Sunderland.

The Whites played out a goalless draw in the Championship with the Black Cats at Elland Road on Tuesday (9 April).

Farke waited until the 72nd minute of the match to make a change, with Wilfried Gnonto replacing Glen Kamara.

Joel Piroe, Mateo Joseph and Connor Roberts then entered the fray shortly after, but they could not impact the scoreline.

The West Yorkshire club blew a massive chance to boost their promotion hopes with the draw, particularly given how league leaders Leicester City lost 1-0 to Millwall.

And unfortunately for Farke, it is the manager who has taken a lot of the blame after what happened at Elland Road.

I wish someone would ask him why he didn’t freshen up the starting 11 when we’ve played 2 games in 4 days! And why he left it so late to make subs? There is no doubt we’ve had a fantastic season and very much still in the hunt, but it currently out of our hands.

Substitutions on the 82mins, seriously? You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that substitutions had to be done way earlier with players who were roaring to have a go and who could make a difference. Very poor substitution decision yet again
