Leeds United fans tear into Marc Roca after confirmed news

Leeds United fans have laid into Marc Roca on social media following the completion of the midfielder’s permanent switch to Real Betis.

Roca sealed a full transfer to Betis from Elland Road in a £3.8m deal, contributing kindly towards Leeds’ efforts to balance the books in time for Sunday.

The move had been mooted for a while, with Football Insider [25 June] revealing Roca had travelled back to his homeland for advanced talks following 37 matches and four goals whilst on loan.

The Spaniard arrived at the Whites from Bayern Munich in 2022, playing 36 times in his solitary season in a Leeds shirt.

Roca, 27, has featured for Spain at various youth levels, but has not yet appeared for the senior side.
