Leeds United: Josuha Guilavogui sends message that fans will love after Man United win
Leeds United promotion hero Josuha Guilavogui has reacted to their vital win against Man United with a new message on social media.
The 35-year-old was watching on as the Whites emerged with a 2-1 win over their rivals at Old Trafford on Monday night.
He took to his Instagram story to post a picture of his old teammates celebrating, with a league table graphic on screen that showed them six points clear of the drop, alongside the caption: “MOT.”
Noah Okafor’s first-half brace against Man United means that Daniel Farke’s side are now primed to survive relegation this season.
Leeds’ next match comes against Wolves, and Guilavogui will almost certainly be watching on in hope that his former club can take another huge stride towards safety.

Leeds fans and Okafor alike could barely believe their luck when he poked the ball past Senne Lammens to make it 1-0 inside the first five minutes on Monday night.
Man United headed into the match on a five-game winning streak on home turf, but could not stop the Whites’ waves of attacks in the first half as the Swiss star scored again just before the half-hour mark.

Daniel Farke’s side were boosted by Lisandro Martinez’s sending off in the 56th minute, but Casemiro’s header 10 minutes later made sure of a nervy end to proceedings.
Leeds dug in and defended brilliantly to preserve their lead, showing the right kind of spirit and determination that should set them up to seal survival at a canter in the coming weeks.
Things are going well off the pitch, as well as on it, with sources recently telling Football Insider that Leeds are set to smash their club-record revenue this season due to the prize money picked up for staying in the top flight.
What has Guilavogui been doing since leaving Leeds?
Guilavogui was clearly very proud of his old club and teammates for their win, having spent the majority of last season with Leeds as he helped them seal promotion to the Premier League.

The former France international turned 35 in September, and is yet to find a club since leaving Elland Road at the end of his contract last summer.
He played a part in helping the Whites seal the signature of ex-teammate Lukas Nmecha, but it remains to be seen if he ever returns to playing after so long on the sidelines.
Guilavogui recently revealed, via X, that he had earned his first UEFA management diploma, so Leeds fans could well see him on a sideline before long, rather than back on the pitch.
