Leeds United news: Danny Mills issues ‘brilliant’ Jesse Marsch claim after Thorp Arch reveal
Danny Mills has claimed Jesse Marsch has had a “brilliant” start to life as Leeds United manager and the break in the schedule can only help him.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender claimed the club are just two results away from securing their Premier League status.
Marsch, 48, told talkSPORT earlier this week (12 April) he is still implementing his “methodologies” at Thorp Arch.

He also suggested Leeds’ woeful luck with injuries is down to Marcelo Bielsa’s training methods including his infamous murderball sessions.
“It gives Jesse Marsch a little bit more time on the training ground and that can only be beneficial,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley
“The results so far have been brilliant under him, they’ve been very, very good.
“They are still in a precarious position. If the teams below them win their games in hand, as unlikely as that is, then it would make it even more precarious.
“They’ve just got to keep focusing on themselves. They are probably one win and one draw away from safety. As soon as they get that they can relax a little bit and enjoy themselves.
“It’s the same for Everton, they were due to play teams in the FA Cup semi-finals so they’ve had to delay that.”

Leeds are next in action later this month (25 April) when they face Crystal Palace.
They then face Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea in quick succession after the trip to Selhurst Park.
