Leeds United news: Pundit shares ‘huge’ Will Ferrell claim
Will Ferrell investing in Leeds United could be brilliant for the club after what has happened to Wrexham with their celebrity ownership.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie explained that Ferrell, who has recently invested in a minority stake in the club, will be a great story for all involved.
McAvennie insisted that, if the actor gets his investment right, he could soon be following Leeds, who he has dubbed a “huge” club, through the Premier League.
Ferrell is the latest celebrity investor coming into an English football club, with the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Michael B. Jordan and Tom Brady involved with Wrexham, Bournemouth and Birmingham City respectively.
