‘Leeds make Patrick Bamford decision as major Rodrigo Muniz update emerges’
Leeds United have made their decision regarding Patrick Bamford’s future as they eye a swoop for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.
Bamford has now helped the Elland Road club win two promotions from the Championship to the Premier League, elevating his heroic status among the Whites faithful.
However, the one-cap England international did not play a key role for Daniel Farke’s men as they won the 2024/25 second-tier title.
The former Middlesbrough man failed to make a Championship start, instead making 17 substitute appearances.

Bamford set for exit door as Leeds ready Muniz move
Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Leeds are readying a move for Rodrigo Muniz, who scored 11 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions for Fulham in 2024/25.
Bamford has already fallen behind the likes of Joel Piroe, and even Spanish youngster Mateo Joseph in Farke’s pecking order.
Therefore, the addition of Muniz to Leeds’ ranks would surely spell the end of Bamford’s Elland Road career.

Elland Road move could be perfect for both Muniz and Leeds
Muniz has scored a combined total of 21 goals in his last two seasons with Fulham, but has become accustomed to largely serving as Raul Jimenez’s deputy.

The 24-year-old should be keen to enjoy regular game time in the Premier League as a starter, which is an opportunity Leeds can hand him.
Meanwhile, as they look to bridge the gap between the Championship and the top flight, Farke’s men need to add a striker with Premier League experience to their ranks.
Muniz’s experience and quality could go a long way towards helping the Elland Road club retain their newly found top-tier status, while he proved his class when he scored against both Arsenal and Liverpool in April.
Farke’s current first-choice striker, Piroe, did well to win the 2024/25 Championship golden boot, but there are still doubts regarding whether the former Swansea City man is capable of producing the goods at Premier League level.
Meanwhile, Paul Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News that the Whites could sell Largie Ramazani.
