Leeds United tipped to sell Raphinha after £25m+ reveal - pundit
Alex McLeish has tipped Raphinha to quit Leeds United and join Barcelona this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Rangers, Aston Villa and Scotland manager claimed Raphinha can make a major difference at Barcelona as they look to build on their resurgence.
The Telegraph reported this week (4 May) that the Spanish giants have stepped up their interest in the 25-year-old Brazil international.
It is claimed they have scheduled imminent talks over a deal and will offer different packages depending on whether Leeds avoid relegation.
It has been widely reported that Raphinha has a £25million release clause that will be activated if the Whites are relegated from the top-flight to the Championship.
Barca are prepared to go above that to ensure they complete a deal swiftly as they see the winger as a primary target in this summer’s window.

Regardless of relegation, Leeds will be vulnerable to losing one of their talismans as he will enter the final two years of his contract this summer.
The Yorkshire giants go into this weekend’s game one place above the relegation zone and two points clear of 18th-place Everton who have a game in hand.
“In a nutshell, I would think he will move, yes,” McLeish told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge.
“You just have the underlying thought that Barcelona will rise again and guys like Raphinha will make a difference to them in certain moments.”
Raphinha has scored 10 and provided assists for a further three of Leeds’ 38 Premier League goals this season.
That brings his tally to 28 goal contributions in 61 top-flight appearances for the club.
