Leeds United told ‘enough is enough’ after Patrick Bamford latest – ‘I’m worried’, says expert
Patrick Bamford’s time at Leeds United may be up after another injury blow.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the striker’s latest knock.
As reported by LeedsLive (5 December), the 29-year-old missed out on the club’s training camp in Spain to undergo surgery on a groin problem.

The procedure is said to have gone well and the striker is now rehabilitating in the UK and is hoped to join back in with training later this month.
The attacker has already missed much of the season due to injury, making ten league appearances for the Whites this term but is yet to score.
“I look at Bamford and I’m worried, he is always injured now,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“You talk about players always being injured but this guy is literally always injured. He proved his doubters wrong when he first came up with Leeds but he has barely kicked a ball since.
“This is the second season where he has barely kicked a ball. At some point, someone has to say enough or enough.
“Bamford has done so much for Leeds but at some point, you have to look at the facts and if Leeds had a fully fit striker in that position then they would be scoring more goals.
“You have to cut your losses at some point and make a hard decision but if Bamford isn’t going to play then he shouldn’t be there.”

During his first Premier League season with Leeds, Bamford scored 17 goals in 38 total appearances.
He only managed two goals in nine appearances during the 2021-22 campaign.
