Leeds told to accept Diego Llorente offer after source’s reveal – fans react
Leeds United supporters have called for the club to cash in on Diego Llorente this summer amid interest from Real Betis.
Reports claimed the Yorkshire outfit have turned down an opening offer from the Spanish club for Llorente’s signature.
This comes after Football Insider first revealed that Betis had begun discussions over a move for the defender during the negotiations over Marc Roca’s exit.
The 30-year-old is set to return to Elland Road following his loan spell at Roma, but is not expected to remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
Leeds United told to cash in on Diego Llorente after new bid arrives
Sources told Football Insider that Llorente is likely to secure either a loan or a permanent move away from Leeds amid interest in his availability.
As a result, it seems the initial bid was rejected as the club will demand a higher fee for his signature, having signed him for £18m four years ago.
However, fans are desperate to see the back of him and have demanded the club accept the offer from Betis to move the defender on.
