Leeds United need to make Troy Parrott their number one target during the summer transfer window after another goalscoring performance for the Republic of Ireland.

With the international break underway, Ireland were defeated on penalties by the Czech Republic after a 2-2 draw in the World Cup qualifier play-off semi-final.

It was one of the nation’s biggest games in years, and the defeat ensures that they will not be going to the World Cup finals in the summer.

In recent weeks, Leeds’ front line has looked increasingly weak, with the form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin dropping off considerably. Therefore, a striker of Parrott’s quality would be welcomed by both Farke and the fanbase.

However, with the interest in Parrott growing week by week, Leeds should look to get an offer ready as quickly as possible in order to beat rival clubs.

Football Insider recently revealed that Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have joined a number of European and Premier League clubs in the race to sign Parrott.
