Leeds to unveil new man on Saturday - report
By Harry Sykes
New Leeds joint owner Andrea Radrizzani will speak publicly for the first time on Saturday since buying into the club, according to a report.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claim the Italian sports media mogul “has much reason to be cheerful when he appears at a press conference” on Saturday.
Radrizzani will be unveiled to supporters at a media briefing to trumpet his joint takeover 10 days after it was announced that he has bought a 50 per cent stake in the Championship club.
The 42-year-old tycoon was at Elland Road on Friday night as Leeds provided further evidence of their huge improvement this season with a 1-0 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Derby.
A Chris Wood header secured the three points for Garry Monk’s team and lifted them to third in the Championship table ahead of the rest of the weekend fixtures.

The performance and result would have provided great viewing for Radrizzani, who has been appointed as one of three new directors to a rejigged six-man board.
In his first programme notes on Friday, Radrizzani was keen to emphasise for the first time that he intends to be at the club for an extended period following a tumultuous 13 years marked by financial problems, erratic owners and off-the-field controversies.
“My commitment to the club is long term and I will endeavour to be a fitting custodian on behalf of you all,” said Radrizzani, as quoted in the programme that was posted on the personal Twitter account of Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent Lee Sobot. “My aim is to bring stability and sustainable growth through ongoing investment.
“I am honoured to have become co-owner of such a prestigious club.”
