Leeds will keep getting 'battered' this season - pundit
Frank McAvennie claims Leeds will be on the end of a few “batterings” this season if Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t change his tactics.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted as the Whites lost at the weekend.
Liverpool ran out 3-0 winners at Elland Road as goals from Mo Salah, Fabinho and Sadio Mane punished the Leeds backline.
Leeds have now conceded 11 goals in four Premier League games this season.
Only Newcastle have conceded more and like Leeds, they are winless in the league so far.
Bielsa’s style was criticised last season though the Whites pulled off a top-half finish on their return to the top flight.

However, McAvennie insists the Argentine will have to change his approach if he wants to avoid a repeat of their opening day result against Manchester United.
“Their defence is non-existent,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They will get battered by some teams this season. They already have by Man United.
“That has to be a big worry for Bielsa, he’s been there for years no and they still can’t defend.
“They have conceded 11 in four, that’s worrying.
“If they keep scoring they will be ok but they haven’t been scoring like they were last season.
“It could take a big battering to force him to change because I just don’t think it’s sustainable.”
The Whites did improve their defensive record last season with seven other sides conceding more goals across the season.
Leeds are next in action against Newcastle on Friday night.
