‘Leeds will offer Dan James a new contract’ after latest twist – fans thrilled

Leeds United supporters have urged the club to offer Dan James a new contract after his man-of-the-match performance against Middlesbrough on Tuesday (10 December).

The 27-year-old got himself on the scoresheet at Elland Road as the Whites went on to defeat Middlesbrough 3-1 to go top of the Championship.

The Wales international had five shots throughout the game and was accurate with 80 percent of his passes, three of which were into the final third.

James has made 14 appearances throughout the season for the Yorkshire giants, and he has scored four goals and provided two assists.

His performances have gained heavy praise from Leeds fans who have been impressed by the work rate that he’s displayed which has led to calls for a new contract.

The versatile forward is currently under contract until 2026, but supporters are keen to see that extended.
