When Christiansen would rather play people out of position than call upon his only natural left-back then you know Borthwick-Jackson isn’t playing well.
The Manchester United loanee seems more like an undercover agent than a Leeds player and he really needs to step up to the mark if he doesn’t want his temporary stint at Elland Road to become a total and utter disaster.
The summer signing has only played once in the Championship this season and has since found himself completely axed from Christiansen’s matchday squad.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Man United recall the 20-year-old in January to exit Elland Road after what has so far been a very miserable start to his loan spell.
