Leicester City agree deal to sign Chelsea star Michael Golding – sources
Chelsea midfielder Michael Golding has agreed a £4million move to Leicester City, sources have told Football Insider.
Golding, 18, has just one senior appearance to his name and featured largely for the Blues’ academy sides last season.
A move to Leicester is now expected to be completed in the next 24 hours after medical tests and additional formalities are finalised.
He has agreed a four-year deal with the Premier League outfit.
This comes following Chelsea’s reported agreement to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, having already poached new boss Enzo Maresca.

Golding made his senior debut in the 4-0 FA Cup win against Preston in January and was included in the matchday squad for the EFL Cup defeat to Middlesbrough just three days later.
He also found a taste of senior football when Chelsea’s Under-21s side faced Northampton in the EFL Trophy, in which he scored and assisted in a 2-2 draw.
Able to play any midfield role, be it as a defensive or attacking midfielder, his performances in the Chelsea academy drew admirers both at Stamford Bridge and beyond.
Golding has represented England in every age group from Under-15s to Under-18s, and is also eligible to represent the Republic of Ireland, having done so once at Under-16s level.

PSR concerns have emerged at both Leicester and Chelsea this summer, with the financial deadline of 30 June a crucial day for both clubs.
A reported £30million fee for Dewsbury-Hall to move to Chelsea will help Leicester’s financial position, while the £4million spent on Golding will contribute towards the Blues’ need to sell.
