Sources: Leicester City star George Hirst undergoing Blackburn Rovers medical today
Leicester City striker George Hirst has undergone a medical at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday (30 August), sources have told Football Insider.
The 23-year-old centre-forward is now set to complete a loan move to Ewood Park.
Blackburn have been in the market for attacking reinforcements and Leicester see the East Lancashire side as the ideal place for Hirst to get game time.

Hirst is under contract at the King Power until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
He spent last season on loan with Portsmouth in League One, where he netted 15 times and provided three assists in 15 outings.
The former England Under-20 hitman graduated from Sheffield Wednesday’s academy in 2016.
He spent a single season in Belgium with OH Leuven before he joined Leicester in the summer of 2019.
The youngster has made two brief substitute appearances for the Foxes, both in July 2020 against Tottenham and Man United respectively.
Blackburn are yet to add any firepower up front in the current transfer window amid interest in star forward Ben Brereton Diaz.
Football Insider revealed last Friday (26 August) that Spanish side Celta Vigo have submitted an offer for the Chile international.
It is understood that Everton and French outfit Nice are also interested in Brereton Diaz.
Leicester meanwhile have had a quiet window amid concerns around their Financial Fair Play status.
Goalkeeper Alex Smithies is their only new signing to date, while legendary number one Kasper Schmeichel has left for Nice.

Hamza Choudhury, 24, is another player who the Foxes have opted to loan to the Championship.
The midfielder joined Watford on a season-long deal earlier this month (10 August).
