Leicester Patson Daka reacts to Wilfred Ndidi amid Everton links
Wilfred Ndidi looks set to leave Leicester City for a return to the Premier League and his latest message has gained a reaction from team mate Patson Daka.
It was exclusively revealed by Football Insider that Everton were planning a move for the Nigerian international.
Ndidi still has two years left on his current contract at the King Power after signing an extension last summer, which has a £9million release clause attached.
The 28-year-old joined Leicester since 2017 and has helped the Foxes lift the FA Cup following victory over Chelsea in the 2021 campaign.

Daka responds to Ndidi message
Ndidi took to Instagram to post the message “Do not swipe” underneath two pictures of himself, which Daka liked.
Daka has been at Leicester for four years but has scored just 23 goals for the club in 121 appearances.
The Zambian international scored just a solitary Premier League goal last season as the Foxes suffered a humiliating relegation back to the Championship.
Problems mounting at Leicester
Football Insider Verdict
Ndidi’s departure is expected this summer as the Foxes look to cash in on one of their few prized assets.
Everton need midfield reinforcements following the departure of Abdoulaye Doucoure as a free agent, and the end of Orel Mangala’s loan spell.
The Nigerians tenacious approach and ability to break up opposition attacks would be an asset for many club’s in the top flight.
Appearances | 303 |

At £9, there would seem to be very little risk to the deal and an experienced player to gain.
The future if he stays at Leicester currently looks break, with the Foxes still without a manager following the sacking of Ruud van Nistlerooy and the club could be hit with a points deduction on their return to the Championship.
With fellow relegated sides Southampton and Ipswich looking for an immediate return to the Premier League among a host of fellow ambitious clubs, Leicester are not guaranteed to be coming straight back up.
Not only would losing Ndidi be a blow in the middle of the park, but the squad looks light of goals following Jamie Vardy’s emotional farewell.
Daka would be expected to step up in Vardy’s absence, but the striker has yet to make an impression at the club.
