Levi Colwill’s post provokes hilarious Noni Madueke response after Chelsea win
Levi Colwill’s post on social media has ridicule from Noni Madueke after the winger scored twice in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Legia Warsaw.
The England international replaced Tosin Adarabioyo at half-time with the scores still level, however Enzo Maresca’s side clicked into gear after the break.
It was a special night for young forward Tyrique George, as the 19-year-old reached a huge milestone for Chelsea, having scored his first senior goal for the club to put them ahead.
A second-half brace from Madueke, either side of a missed penalty by Christopher Nkunku, secured the win and put the visitors in control of the tie.

Noni Madueke shares a funny response to Levi Colwill’s post
In a post via Instagram on Friday (11 April), the 22-year-old defender shared a series of images followed by the caption: “Let’s finish the job at home”.
The message provoked a response from goalscorer Madueke which not many would have noticed, as he said: “Armband looks a bit loose on you g”.
Levi Colwill an important part of Enzo Maresca’s system
Football Insider Verdict
Colwill’s importance under Maresca seems to be increasing with every game this season and can be highlighted by Chelsea‘s stark drop off in win percentage in his absence.
With the young centre-back, the Blues have managed a 62% with Colwill in the starting eleven, but just 33% without.

With – 62% |
Without – 33% |
Colwill’s quality in possession is an important factor behind his adaption under the Italian coach, with him being comfortable receiving the ball from the goalkeeper and building attacks from defence.
The aim for the 22-year-old now will be to help guide Chelsea to glory in the Conference League alongside a top four finish in the Premier League.
If Colwill and Chelsea are to finish the season strongly then it would give new England coach Thomas Tuchel an interesting decision to make at the heart of his defence ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
