Levy told to keep 'promises' to Conte amid 'incredible' Tottenham development - pundit
Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy must follow through on his promises to Antonio Conte.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the club’s “massive summer”.
Tottenham currently occupy fourth place in the Premier League though fifth-placed Arsenal have the same number of points and hold a game in hand.
The two sides will face off before the end of the season, meaning Tottenham can dramatically improve their chances of securing Champions League football with a derby win.
McAvennie insists this is a sign of “incredible” progress under Conte and has urged Levy to follow through on his promises.
“Tottenham look so much better now,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They might get into the top-four which would be an incredible achievement if Conte can pull that off. The whole progress has been incredible.
“Then they have a massive summer and Levy must keep the promises he made to Conte.
“He has been promised money to spend, he wouldn’t have taken the job otherwise.
“That money now needs to come. Look what he has done with the players who were already there.
“His signings have been good too so let him do more of that if you want Spurs to be successful.”
Tottenham signed Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski in January with both players already key to Conte’s setup.
Spurs are next in action against Aston Villa on Saturday (9 April).
