Levy will seal best Tottenham business of 2018 with reported £85,000-a-wk player talks scheduled
Tottenham are reportedly set to hold talks with attacker Heung-min Son about a new deal in North London – and it will be the best piece of business that Daniel Levy will pull off in the whole of 2018.
Son, 25, has been in sublime form for Spurs over the past couple of seasons and has been drastically under-rated with all the attention focused on Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Sky Sports has reported that talks are now scheduled to take place between Spurs and Son over the coming weeks with his current deal due to expire in 2020.
The South Korea international is bound to start attracting attention from elsewhere if he keeps up his current run of form that has seen him net a staggering seven goals in his last four appearances, including one against Juventus in the Champions League.
Without Son it’s fair to say that Mauricio Pochettino would not be enjoying so much success in the capital as the ex-Bayer Leverkusen attacker has stood in for Harry Kane while the England international has been injured.

Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente have been flops over the past couple of seasons so maybe it is about time that Pochettino starts using Son more as a centre-forward.
The Daily Star has reported that Son is earning £85,000-a-week on his deal at Tottenham, so any improvement on that is big progress for Levy who is reluctant to spend big money on wages.
It could mean that a new deal for Son will open up the possibilities over improved terms for the likes of Alli, Kane and maybe even Toby Alderweireld.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs are ready to sanction a summer exit for this player valued at over £14million.
