Liam Henderson has taken to Twitter to heap praise on Efe Ambrose after the Celtic defender continues to star on loan with Neil Lennon’s Hibernian.
Ambrose, 28, starred at the back for Hibernian on Friday night, as Lennon’s side secured their second successive win against Dundee United with a 1-0 win.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Henderson described Ambrose as “Efe unbelievable” after his display saw Hibs stretch their lead at the top of the Scottish Championship table.
Defender Ambrose has finally been given the all clear to pay for Championship leaders Hibs, after completing an emergency loan at Easter Road.
Nigeria international Ambrose has helped Lennon’s side win two out of his three appearances to extend his new side’s lead to nine points at the top of Scotland’s second tier.
The former FC Ashdod defender was supposed to join English outfit Blackburn Rovers on loan in January, but STV claimed that his move was eventually blocked over work permit issues.
The defender will be hoping his performances for Hibernian will catch the eye of Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who has used Ambrose just twice this season prior to his loan move.
However, Ambrose faces plenty of centre-back competition at Celtic Park, with the likes of Jozo Simunovic, Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata all ahead of him in the pecking order.
