Sky Sports pundit predicts Celtic v Motherwell

Sky Sports Scottish football pundits Andy Walker and Ian Crocker have given their predictions ahead of this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash between Celtic and Motherwell.

In their column on Sky Sports both men are tipping Celtic to win, but they’ve gone for different scorelines.

Crocker is going for 2-1 to Celtic, and his key player for the game is Leigh Griffiths. He states that Griffiths is “likely to make his presence felt” as the replacement for the injured Moussa Dembele.

Walker – who played for both Celtic and Motherwell – is going for a far more emphatic 4-0 win to Celtic.

His key player for the game is Callum McGregor, who “won the stonewall penalty” that earned Celtic a point at Fir Park on Wednesday night, and is “having a fine season”.

Today’s match between the sides is the third encounter between Celtic and Motherwell in the space of the week.

The two previous meetings – which have  proven to be controversial for two key penalty decisions – have ended 2-0 to Celtic and 1-1.

Following today’s match, it’s back to European football for the Bhoys as they take on Anderlecht at Celtic Park on Tuesday night in the last of their Champions League group stage matches.
