Lennon has had a bright season for Liverpool’s reserves and excelled under Michael Beale prior to his departure before continuing his impressive form under Mike Garrity.
He recently scored two goals in a friendly against Barnet at the Kirby academy ground and helped his side secure an impressive 4-1 victory.
Lennon regularly lines up alongside some of Liverpool’s most talented youngsters including Ben Woodburn, Sheyi Ojo, Harry Wilson, Ovie Ejaria and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Football Insider verdict:
The youngster has proven to be an exciting forward in Liverpool’s academy but he faces tough competition from a bunch of talented forwards and it’s unlikely he will make the break-through to the first team as a result. Woodburn, Ojo and Wilson appear to have the upper hand so Lennon must make a decision on his future which gives him the best opportunity to receive regular first-team action. Salt Lake showed great interest in his development as a youngster and he could be keen to make a return to America where he has already established himself as a rising star.
