Liverpool ace Dominik Szoboszlai reacts to Erling Haaland’s Man City update
Erling Haaland has provided a Man City training ground update, prompting a response from Liverpool rival Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 24-year-old has been back in action for Pep Guardiola‘s side in their last couple of games, scoring in the win at Tottenham before coming off the bench to provide an assist in the FA Cup win over Plymouth.
That came after Haaland had picked up an injury in Man City’s win over Newcastle that had kept him out of defeats to Real Madrid and Liverpool.
But with the striker now back in action making an impact, it seems as though he is still focused on ending the season strongly judging by his latest social media update.

Erling Haaland provides fresh training ground update
That defeat to Real Madrid ensured Man City were knocked out of the Champions League prior to the round of 16, ensuring they are not in action during this midweek.
Despite that is appears the work has not stopped for Haaland and his teammates as they prepare for a trip to The City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday (8 March).

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (5 March), the Man City talisman posted pictures of himself in action on the training ground, including with an action shot of an acrobatic bicycle.
He then accompanied that with a caption included a saluting emoji and two words that simply read: “Wednesday sesh”.
In response, Szobszlai, whose Liverpool side are in action against PSG in the Champions League in midweek, was among those to like that post from Haaland.
Man City will look to Erling Haaland as resurgence targeted
Football Insider Verdict
There is no escaping the fact that this has been a well below par season for Haaland and the rest of Pep Guardiola’s side.
Even at this stage of the campaign, Man City have been left with only the FA Cup to compete for in terms of potential silverware.
Having developed expectations way beyond that in recent years, there will be pressure on them to bounce back quickly and emphatically in the 2025/26 campaign.
With Haaland continuing to make an impact in front of goal since his return there will be plenty of emphasis on him to be the man to guide the club back to their trophy-winning potential.
Of course, Haaland only signed a new nine-year contract at Man City earlier this year, so they can be confident of benefitting from his goalscoring abilities for a long time to come.
With that in mind, the motivation and desire to impress here is something that should be a welcome sight for those at the Etihad Stadium.
