Liverpool handed fresh Luis Diaz to Bayern worry: ‘Make it happen’
Liverpool could sanction the exit of versatile winger Luis Diaz as Arne Slot continues to reshape his squad at Anfield.
After leading the Reds to the Premier League title in his first season in charge of the Merseyside giants, Slot has overseen the high-profile additions of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Hugo Ekitike.
Contrastingly, the Dutchman’s only acquisition last summer was that of former Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.
But while Chiesa endured a lack of game time in the North West last term, Slot is utilising the current transfer window.

Liverpool warned they have to sell Diaz to Bayern Munich this summer
Amid the interest in the Colombia star this summer, Liverpool have rejected bids from Bayern for Diaz, who played a key role in last season’s Premier League title triumph.
The 28-year-old proved his versatility by effectively operating as both a winger and a striker for Slot’s men last term, notching 13 goals in 36 top-flight outings.
Meanwhile, speaking live on talkSPORT [23 July], European football expert Andy Brassell warned Liverpool: “Luis Diaz clearly wants to go there (to Bayern) and Liverpool have got to do something because he’s only got two years on his contract.
“Selling him this summer and selling him next summer is night and day if he’s not going to sign again. I think that have to make it happen now.
“The problem is that Bayern are spending bigger than they have been in the past on transfer fees because it used to be smaller transfer fees, bigger wages.
“Now they’ve sort of slightly evolved to fit in with the rest of football.”
Slot should sanction Diaz exit

The wideman has been a top talent for the Reds since joining from Porto in 2022, helping them win the Premier League, the FA Cup, and two Carabao Cups.
However, if Liverpool retain their man, he could prove disruptive next season, because he wants to leave Anfield.
Furthermore, Slot can allow Diaz to leave the North West from a footballing point of view, as Cody Gakpo is a strong option on the left wing, while summer signing Ekitike is set to jeopardise the former Porto man’s chances of enjoying game time up front.
Fellow new boy Wirtz has also effectively operated out wide for both Bayer Leverkusen and Germany, further lowering the ramifications of the Colombian’s potential move to Bayern.
Meanwhile, Napoli have been tipped to swoop for Chiesa in a Liverpool News 247 exclusive, after diverting their attention away from Darwin Nunez.
